This Privacy Policy describes how Burak Alp KARA ("we," "us," or "Developer") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the mobile application Stamp Creator: Photo Puncher (the "App"). This Policy applies to the iOS App distributed through the Apple App Store. By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Purpose: The App transforms photos into digital stamps, provides a customizable canvas and notebook for organizing stamp creations, supports iCloud synchronization, and offers optional premium subscription features.

This Policy explains:

  • How we use, retain, and share that information;
  • Your choices and rights under applicable laws (including CCPA for California residents);
  • How to contact us.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information for the purposes described below.

Personal Data (collected when you voluntarily provide it)

  • Email address (when you contact support, register, or authenticate using email).
  • Account identifiers and transaction/receipt information associated with subscriptions and purchases (transaction ID, purchase date, plan type).
  • Payment-related metadata (we do not collect full credit card numbers; payments are processed through Apple StoreKit and/or RevenueCat).

Photos and Media Files

  • Photos and media files you import into the App (from your device Photos library or via PhotosUI).
  • Image metadata you allow (e.g., file name, dimensions). Location metadata embedded in images will be accessed only if you grant permission via iOS Photos permission; the App does not collect location metadata by default.

Usage Data & Technical Data

  • Device information: device model, iOS version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA when you permit tracking), language, time zone.
  • Log and diagnostic data: app crash reports, performance data (via Crashlytics), analytics events (via Firebase Analytics) describing how you interact with the App (features used, session duration, errors).
  • IP address and approximate location derived from IP for analytics and to provide the App.

Financial Information

  • Transaction receipts and subscription status needed to manage subscriptions and billing. Payment processing (including payment card details) is handled by Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat; we do not receive or store raw card numbers.

Sensitive Data

The App is a media/creative app and does not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive data (e.g., health, race, religion). If you embed or import sensitive content into images, that content will be treated as Photos and Media Files as described above.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the App, including creating and editing stamp images, saving collections, supporting iCloud sync, and delivering premium features.
  • Process purchases, manage subscriptions and refunds, and prevent fraud.
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Analyze and improve the App (analytics, crash reporting, usage patterns).
  • Display non-personalized advertising via AdMob and similar services.
  • Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Third-Party Services and Disclosures

iCloud Synchronization

The App offers optional iCloud sync to keep stamp collections synchronized across your Apple devices. Content you choose to store in iCloud is stored under your Apple ID and subject to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy protections: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

You control iCloud sync in iOS Settings. If you disable iCloud sync, your local copies will remain on device(s) unless you delete them.

Advertising and User Tracking

The App displays non-personalized ads via AdMob. Non-personalized ads are targeted using contextual signals and not built from your personal profile.

If we request permission under Apple's AppTrackingTransparency for cross-app tracking (IDFA), we will obtain your explicit consent first. You may opt out of tracking by disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track" or by selecting "Ask App Not to Track" in the prompt.

You may also limit ad personalization on your device via iOS Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising or Limit Ad Tracking preferences.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App provides optional premium features via subscriptions (auto-renewing). Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Refund policy: We offer a 14-day refund period for purchases as described in our support/refund procedure. Note: Apple also provides refund mechanisms and may handle some refunds. If you need assistance with refunds, please contact us at burakalpkara@gmail.com.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:

  • Photos & Media Files: Stored locally on your device and in iCloud if you enable sync. They remain until you delete them from the App and/or iCloud.
  • Analytics & Crash Data: Up to 14 months for analytics data (typical Firebase retention) or as otherwise required by the analytics provider's settings.
  • Transaction & Billing Records: Transaction receipts and related records are retained for the duration necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal compliance (commonly up to 7 years).
  • Support Correspondence and Account Data: Retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period after to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data as described below in "Your Rights."

Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS.
  • Use of secure, reputable third-party providers for analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and payments.
  • Access controls and limited internal access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.

Note: While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

General Rights (where applicable):

  • Categories of Personal Information Collected: identifiers (email, device identifiers), commercial information (purchase history, subscription status), internet/network activity (usage data), photos/media (if you import them), and financial transaction metadata.
  • Sources: We collect directly from you (information you provide) and automatically from your device (usage and technical data). We also receive information from third-party service providers (e.g., Apple, RevenueCat).
  • Purpose for Collection: To provide the App, manage subscriptions, provide customer support, analytics, and advertising as described above.
  • Disclosure of Personal Information: We may disclose personal information to service providers (listed in "Third-Party Services") and as required by law. We do not sell personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. If that changes, California residents will be given a clear method to opt out.

How to Delete Your Data / Delete Account

  • In-App: You can delete individual stamp items or clear your collection from within the App UI (check the App's settings and account options).
  • iCloud: If you use iCloud sync, deleting items from the App will also remove them from iCloud (subject to Apple's sync timing). You may also disable iCloud for the App in your device settings.
  • Support: If you need assistance deleting all your data or deleting account-related records, contact burakalpkara@gmail.com. We will respond to verified requests and confirm when deletion is complete, subject to applicable laws and retention requirements.

Refunds & Cancellations

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or via the contact information you provided, and we will update the "Effective date" at the top. Continued use of the App after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

We are based in the United States. Data we collect may be processed in the United States or by third-party service providers in other countries. Where required, we will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
